Challenge
The client had experienced rapid success, quickly outgrowing two phone
systems within five years and was looking for a third system that could
handle their needs. However, previous issues with equipment and systems
outages had left them nervous, as endless finger pointing among
multiple providers left them without service for over a day with no
live support.
Solution
Managed MPLS network with Cisco equipment down to the IP phones on the
desktop. Additionally, Smoothstone provided access to a full suite of
on–demand voice and data applications.
Benefits

implemented quickly, and with minimal disruption to Linak’s operations.
With no more hardware maintenance, application upgrades or patches to
worry about, Linak were able to focus their IT staff on core business
applications and services. Smoothstone’s Network Operations Center
(NOC) has become an extension of Linak’s own IT staff.
